There are some incredible prenatal exercise programs available from yoga to barre to strength training. If you prefer to work out in a class environment, there are some great options out there. For us, we couldn’t afford the extra cost so I decided to get creative! I found a number of programs that are free and have been great for me.
- Walking – Obviously this is not a program but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention it! Walking (or running if you were a runner before) is a great way to keep your muscles strong and get in some good exercise throughout your pregnancy.
- The Balanced Life – I’ve written about the Balanced Life before and am obviously still a fan! I would highly recommend becoming a member if you are able to. Robin has a five part prenatal series that is available on YouTube that I am absolutely living by. If you want a little bit more and are willing to spend a little money, then check out Balanced Beginnings.
- Sarah Beth Yoga – I was actually introduced to Sarah Beth through the Balanced Life (how great is that!). Sarah Beth has a great prenatal series that is available on YouTube. I especially love the morning and bedtime routines.
- Diary of a Fit Mommy – These at home workouts for each trimester are awesome and a full-body experience. I found these exercises on Pinterest! (Follow my Pinterest board that includes everything about getting ready for baby.)
